So much of our hearts are rooted in our faith in Jesus, and that faith truly fuels our desire to make a tangible impact right here in our community. 🙏

Back in 2015, we felt a clear calling to start something different, a non-profit ministry in the marketplace we named Be the Church. Our mission was simple yet ambitious: to breathe new life into our small downtown by buying and renovating neglected buildings and properties, transforming them into vibrant spaces that directly serve community needs.

It’s been a labor of love, and by God’s grace, we’ve now purchased and renovated 5 out of 6 buildings and three homes. These projects have brought so much to our town by creating new employment opportunities with businesses like Pizza King, Scoops Ice Cream Shoppe, and Airbnb rentals. They’ve provided much-needed places to live through new apartments, added essential services like our coin laundry, and welcomed new families into our community.

One of the most fulfilling parts has been partnering with Through the Gate, a Christian residential rehab for women overcoming addiction. Through this partnership, we opened The Mustard Seed Cafe, providing meaningful employment and a fresh start for their graduates.

It’s amazing to see how our passion for real estate investment, both residential and commercial, has become the primary way we fund this ministry. It’s more than just properties; it’s about stewarding resources to build up our community and reflect God’s love in action.
